GreenMore completes delivery of 200 energy storage batteries to Nigeria

NANJING, China — April 29, 2025 — GreenMore has completed and shipped an order of 200 home energy storage batteries for a customer in Nigeria. The order comprises 100 units of 5 kWh batteries and 100 units of 10 kWh batteries, totaling 1,500 kWh of installed capacity. After final inspection and testing, the units were packed in UN3480-marked export crates and dispatched.

Order details

The batteries are configured for residential use — pairing solar generation with storage to cover evening loads and to provide backup where the customer's inverter supports that function. The 10 kWh model is one of GreenMore's standard wall-mounted and stacked home storage products; details on that product are available on its product page. The mix of 5 kWh and 10 kWh units reflects the customer's requirements across different household sizes and installation scenarios.

Nigeria's power environment — frequent grid interruptions and widespread household solar adoption — is one reason for the product configuration choices. Batteries in the order are designed around LiFePO4 cells and include a battery management system, with protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, over-temperature and short circuit. GreenMore said the shipment follows its standard inspection and quality-control procedures for export.
