GreenMore has launched a solar tile solution designed for roof renovation and structural replacement projects. The product targets building companies, roof contractors, renovation teams and OEM partners who need roofing materials that generate electricity without altering the building’s original appearance.
Roof aging, structural degradation and material replacement are common challenges in many regions. Traditional tiles do not meet modern energy requirements, while conventional solar panels often change the roof’s appearance and add structural load. GreenMore’s solar tiles address these issues by combining roofing functionality with photovoltaic generation in a single component, enabling renovation projects to upgrade both structure and energy systems simultaneously.

The solar tiles adopt the same geometric profiles used in clay, curved and Mediterranean-style roofing materials. This allows direct replacement during renovation without modifying the underlying roof structure. Each tile incorporates high-efficiency solar cells and a laminated protective structure to improve resistance to humidity, salt mist and UV exposure. The mechanical connection method matches traditional tiles, enabling installation by standard roofing teams without additional training.
The tiles support flexible series-parallel configurations to accommodate different roof sizes and project requirements. Wiring is embedded within the tile structure to reduce exposed components and improve environmental protection. For system integration, the solar tiles can connect to GreenMore’s residential energy storage systems or commercial-industrial storage cabinets through either DC-coupled or AC-coupled configurations, making them suitable for residential, commercial and small industrial applications.

GreenMore provides OEM customization for dimensions, colors, surface textures, electrical interfaces and system integration requirements. The product can be adapted to regional roofing standards and architectural styles, ensuring compatibility with local construction practices.
The solar tile solution has undergone adaptation testing in Greece, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia and Australia — markets with roof structures and climate conditions well aligned to the product’s mechanical and electrical characteristics. GreenMore plans to expand project cooperation in these regions and provide technical support for local contractors and builders.
