GreenMore releases 418KWh commercial energy storage system

NANJING, China — September 3, 2025 — GreenMore has released a new liquid-cooled commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage cabinet with a single-cabinet capacity configurable between 372 kWh and 418 kWh. The system is intended for factories, commercial buildings and other sites where battery storage is used for peak shaving, time-of-use arbitrage, backup power or to increase self-consumption of on-site solar generation.

Product specifications

The new cabinet uses LiFePO4 cells with a pack-level liquid-cooling channel. According to the product datasheet, the liquid-cooling design targets a within-pack temperature difference of approximately ±2°C, which the company says is intended to improve cycle life and safety compared with air-cooled equivalents. Fire protection is specified at both the pack level and the cabinet level.

Other specifications listed on the product datasheet include:

• Single-cabinet capacity: configurable up to 418 kWh.
• Operating temperature range: −20°C to 55°C, with an intelligent dehumidification function to manage condensation risk.
• Modular expansion: additional cabinets can be added in parallel to scale capacity as the site's load grows, without requiring a full system shutdown for the expansion.
• Remote monitoring and maintenance: the system supports firmware upgrades and condition monitoring through a remote platform, reducing the need for on-site visits for routine tasks.

Where it fits

A single 372–418 kWh cabinet is sized for medium-scale C&I applications — for example, a factory shifting part of its daytime load to stored off-peak or solar energy, a commercial building managing time-of-use tariffs, or a site that needs a block of stored energy to cover critical loads during a grid interruption. Larger requirements can be addressed by running multiple cabinets in parallel.

"The buying logic for C&I storage has moved from 'backup insurance' to 'a line item that has to pay for itself through tariff savings, demand charge reduction or production continuity'," said Jimmy Wang, CEO of GreenMore. "This cabinet is our response to that — higher capacity per cabinet so the footprint and balance-of-system cost per kWh come down, with the safety and service features that industrial buyers ask for during due diligence."

The system is available for order.
