GreenMore GM-LW series off-grid inverters passed EU CE certification

NANJING, China — May 17, 2023 — GreenMore today announced that its GM-LW series 0.5–3 kW off-grid solar inverters have obtained CE certification for the European Union. The certification, completed on November 12, 2022, confirms that the series meets EU requirements under the Low Voltage and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) directives and clears the products for placement on the European market.

The GM-LW series is designed for off-grid solar installations, including residential backup systems, remote sites and solar-plus-storage setups. Units convert DC power from solar arrays and batteries into AC output for household and light commercial loads, with built-in protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature conditions.

"CE certification is a baseline requirement for doing business in Europe, and we wanted it in place before we opened the series to distributors there," said a GreenMore spokesperson. "It gives our partners documented evidence that the inverters meet European safety and electromagnetic compatibility requirements, rather than asking them to take that on trust."

The certified series covers the 0.5 kW to 3 kW power range and is suited to sites that operate independently of the utility grid, as well as weak-grid regions where reliability is a priority.
